We work closely with legal counsel to compile the evidence required to substantiate continuous use and occupation of a territory dating from the time of contact to present, We access census records, vital stats records, baptismal, marriage and burial records to prove descendancy from the original occupants of the territory. We also access archival records, explorers accounts, the field notes of anthropologists and archaeologists, journals, reports, publications and other available documentation to support use and occupation of a territory. Most importantly we interview the membership to document the oral tradition pertaining to your territory and continuous use of that territory.
